So not until I had graduated end of 2007 did I have time to even think about politics after getting a cushy salaried job. Also for some reason the internet was easier to glean accurate information from at that point. In high school wikipedia was in it's infancy for a quick run down and seemed to be more for people to write 10,000 words about Star Trek than anything historical. Even then not until I moved from one city to another in 2010, where the odd number years were more emphasized for local propositions did I start to even understand you should be voting every year.
