I would say that having anxiety bad enough to prevent driving is probably also having a major impact on quality of life outside of the car. It probably should be addressed even if you don't have a pressing need to drive. I have my drivers license but i won't drive unless absolutely necessary due to only having one useable eye, driving scares the shit out of me. I'm alright at driving I know the road laws and all that crap but it still scares me. That's kinda funny how anxiety works in each person, I have a shit ton of anxiety, especially the social one but driving just relax me like nothing else, especially at night

A friend has been unemployed for 3 months. He had an interview yesterday and both his cars broke down with no money to repair them. He ran out of money. He is a single man with no dependents, around 30, has a good degree, worked for most of it and has had decent salaries. I told him he should have at least 6 months worth of money saved up, if not 12. I already downcasted my expectation for him. He did NOT receive that well. He was like what on earth kind of job do you do and started attacking me.
