A friend has been unemployed for 3 months. He had an interview yesterday and both his cars broke down with no money to repair them. He ran out of money. He is a single man with no dependents, around 30, has a good degree, worked for most of it and has had decent salaries. I told him he should have at least 6 months worth of money saved up, if not 12. I’m in a similar position to your sister. I’m 30 and learning how to drive seems super daunting. I think my spatial awareness kind of sucks and I just have a hard time imagining I’d be a good driver. I put off driving until I was 23 and taking a driving class with a bunch of 15 year olds helped lol. It was a lot easier than I thought to get my license but driving still gives me anxiety. Yeah personally I have always washed all my clothes together on warm, but with drying I get particular. Here's some technique for any young guns out there. You get a nice lather going with both hands. Turn your arse away from the shower and really get in there and get it nice and clean (common decency dictates using your non dominant hand). One trick to not having clutter is making sure everything has a place. When you use something, return it to it’s designated place. Get bins to organize and itemize everything and store it away properly. Things seem cluttered when they’re just thrown wherever. You can have the same amount of objects yet keep them organized and out of sight and suddenly there’s no clutter. It’s a practice but it’s definitely worth living that’s way. Not sure how accurate that is, buuuut having a nicely decorated place has been a goal of mine for a long time. Or at the very bare minimum, just having furniture that matches.
