Within 6 months of marrying . Married my H S sweetheart- reconnected after not seeing him for 15 years, got married, then pregnant within 6 months and he says he wasn’t going to bring home a paycheck any longer. A friend has been unemployed for 3 months. He had an interview yesterday and both his cars broke down with no money to repair them. He ran out of money. He is a single man with no dependents, around 30, has a good degree, worked for most of it and has had decent salaries. I told him he should have at least 6 months worth of money saved up, if not 12. I already downcasted my expectation for him. He did NOT receive that well. He was like what on earth kind of job do you do and started attacking me.
